Say Hello To Jaguar's Saving Grace, The F-Type Coupe

Jaguar has been, lets say, "sub-par" over the years trying to compete in the two door luxury class with such monsters as the BMW M6, any Aston Martin, Bentley Continental GT, Mercedes SLS and SLK, Porsche 911's and even the Nissan GTR.

When I use to sell luxury cars, I really fell in love with the Jaguar XKR Convertible.  Supercharged V8 that would take me to 140mph faster than some cars take you 0-60mph.  I never liked the superchargers or the sound of it on any car but that XKR.  It was comfy, it was sexy, and it was fast.  It made driving the 640i from BMW boring.  It was too stiff, the seats sucked, and it did not have that flare that the Jag did.  I fell in love with the R!

Since then, I have been keeping my eye out for Jag's saving grace because lets be honest, Tata Motors has been trying hard to pick up the pieces from Fords crappy ideas.  With the presently big sedans driving around quite frequently, it was a start to bring the brand back to what they were known for.

Now, I am proud to blog about Jaguars new F-Type R Coupe.  0-60mph in 4.0 seconds from a 5.0-liter, 550-hp supercharged V8! Oh my word!

For Jag to stay alive, this is exactly what they were needing to do.  Make a balls to the wall, premium machine with styling from the sex goddess, and price it under $100k.  Now there are other powertrain's that might fit your budget even better with a 340hp supercharged 3.0liter V6 that when chosen to slightly tune to an extra 40hp, can hit 0-60mph in 4.8 seconds.  That tuned platform is around $77,000. That is amazing!

Now hear how it sounds by watching the video! You won't be disappointed

Kudo's Jag! I'm loving it through and through.
