CTS-V Black Diamond Edition

Cadillac has come up with a way to gain more notice to its powerhouse that was on just about every car magazine cover this past year. Shown at the Chicago Auto Show, the designers have worked with the styling aspect to gain attention rather than performance. The paint is a special tri-coat treatment that’s not just a metalflake but aluminum flakes encapsulated in a glass-like substance called magnesium fluoride made by JDSU. It gives the paint much more depth.
A black Sapelli wood is put in place of the original trim pieces. Big yellow brake calipers are a great touch to the all black color scheme.
There is no performance upgrades partially because they feel the performance is great already.
Recaro Sport seats will be leathered out with a two tone color scheme to give it that original look. This special edition is going to be available in a few months in the coupe, sedan, and sport wagon models.
