BMW Wins Rolex, Porsche Takes GT Class

For the Daytona Prototype cars, it was an astonishing finish with three cars on the same lap when the white flag dropped. But when the pace car went in for the final lap, the mostly American team had just a better car to pull away from the pack to take home the checkered flag.
Overall classification
1. Pruett/Rojas/Rahal/Hand (USA/MEX/USA/USA), BMW-Riley (DP), 720 laps
2. Dixon/Franchitti/Montoya/MacMurray (NZ/GB/COL/USA), BMW-Riley (DP), 720
3. Barbosa/Borcheller/France/Papis/Fittipaldi (P/USA/USA/I/BRA), Porsche-Riley (DP), 720

With so many Porsche entries this year and only a couple of Japanese and American cars, the German automaker had podium with ease. Ferrari had a couple cars as well but had some bad luck to not hang with the top competitors.
But the driver that had the most attention was actor Patric Dempsey in the Mazada and his team ended up in Third! Congrats to Mazada for keeping up with the Germans.
