Marx Brothers' 1927 Mercedes-Benz S Boattail Speedster headed to auction

In 1932 between Zeppo Marx and agent Phil Berg, a $10,000 bet was laid down because Zeppo said that his 1927 Mercedes-Benz S Boattail Speedster could beat Berg's Duesenberg. The two cars set out for the dry lakes north of Hollywood with over a thousand spectators. The Duesenberg took the win and the money. But now the same Marx's Mercedes with the original yellow license plate is going up for auction with Gooding & Company at Pebble Beach.
