Bugatti sells for record $30 million

The Mullin Automotive Museum in Oxnard, Ca., bought a beauty just like this for between $30 million and $40 million from Gooding & Company, the internationally known brokers from Santa Monica, California. The 57SC Atlantic was based on the Aerolithe Electron Coupe, a show car built for the 1935 Paris Auto Salon. It is a timeless piece of European art.
Two completely original Atlantics survive: the Williamson car and another owned by clothing designer Ralph Lauren. I wonder what car we will see next to sell for this much.
